Dr. Albert Anani-Bossman is a seasoned communication expert, academic, and author with over two decades of experience spanning higher education, corporate communication, and strategic consultancy. He currently serves as a Senior Lecturer in the Department of Public Relations at the Faculty of Public Relations, Advertising, and Marketing, and is the Acting Head of the Directorate of Research, Innovation, and Development (DRID) at the University of Media, Arts, and Communication (UniMAC).

At UniMAC, he has served on several high-level academic and institutional committees, including the Academic Board, the International Conference Committee, and as Chair of both the Media and Communication Policy Committee and the MPhil Thesis Defence Committee.

Beyond UniMAC, Dr. Anani-Bossman has held key academic roles at Pentecost University, where he served as a lecturer and Head of the Department of Communication Studies. His teaching portfolio includes undergraduate, postgraduate, and doctoral students in public relations, strategic communication, organizational communication, and integrated marketing communication.

As a communication consultant, Dr. Anani-Bossman has worked with notable organizations, including Yankah & Associates and Strategic Communications Africa (Stratcomm Africa), where he led and contributed to research, training, and communication strategy projects for a diverse range of local and international clients. These include UNICEF, MTN, UNDP, RTI-USA, Zoomlion, the Public Procurement Authority, and La Société Burkinabè des Filières Alimentaires (SBFA).

Dr. Anani-Bossman is a widely published scholar with numerous journal articles and book chapters on public relations, crisis communication, sustainability, and digital transformation in Africa. He is the lead editor of three volumes on Public Relations Management in Africa (Volumes I & II) and Sustainability Marketing in Emerging Economies and a co-editor of Marketing Communications in Emerging Economies (Vol. 1). He currently serves as Associate Editor of the Journal of Communication, Media and Society (JOCMAS). His research interests include artificial intelligence and strategic communication, public sector communication, and the future of public relations practice in Africa.

He holds a PhD in Communication from the University of South Africa and is a member of several professional bodies, including the Chartered Institute of Public Relations (UK), the Institute of Public Relations (Ghana), and the International Communication Association (ICA).
